Special care has been taken in the design and construction of Airport facilities, including parking garages and terminals, to ensure safe, convenient and easy access for travelers with disabilities. Parking & Terminal Access FLL provides an innovative feature at all parking facilities for passengers with upper body mobility limitations. This unique ADA Parking Access Feature allows patrons to access the parking lots without pulling a ticket. If you must park on any other level, take the elevator to Level 1 and cross at the crosswalk or ride the shuttle to the west end of the garage complex. Courtesy Parking: Persons operating vehicles that display a Florida Toll Exemption permit, or that are equipped with specialized equipment for utilization by a person who has a disability, such as foot or hand controls, lifts or ramps, will be provided with courtesy parking, subject to Aviation Department verification procedures. Florida TTY/Voice Relay Service Baggage Carts Baggage carts are available for rental at a cost of $3.00. Cart stands are located on the upper and lower levels of terminals and the garage complex. Major credit cards are accepted. There is a $.25 refund on all carts returned to a cart stand location. For more information, call 954-359-0007. Business Services Business service centers are located in all four terminals. Here is where you will find such services as ATMs, travel insurance and stamps. There is also an ATM available 24 hours a day on the second level of the Car Rental Center to the east of the Concourse B crossover. The Currency Exchange stocks all major currencies. Public Baggage Storage is available in Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4. Enjoy exploring the airport or surrounding communities without the impediment of having to take your luggage with you. Hours vary by location and season; however the Terminal 2 location is open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. For more information call 954-359-7610. Southwest Airlines passengers, who will be embarking on a cruise, may arrange in advance for seaport check-in for the return flight. Courtesy phones are available in baggage claim areas offering direct connect service to local car companies and hotels. Wireless Services The Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport provides travelers and guests free internet access through the airport's wireless system. This service is provided in all terminal and concourse areas. Patrons can utilize a properly configured laptop, personal digital assistant or other device that is wireless compatible and able to connect to the Web. The airport suggests using a computer running one of the newer versions of Windows or MAC operating systems and newer versions of Palm Handhelds, Pocket PCs or other portable devices.
