The Federal Aviation Administration held a Public Hearing on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Use of Runways 9R/27L and 13/31 on May 1, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel, 1870 Griffin Road, Dania Beach, Florida 33004.
The public provided comments to a court reporter or completed written comment forms. The FAA staff and consultants answered questions regarding the EA analysis. No formal presentations were made.
Availability for Review
The EA is available for review at the Broward County Public Libraries and the FLL Community Outreach Office at 550 Northwest 10th Street, Dania Beach. The Outreach Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The FAA will accept comments until May, 15, 2008 (Comment Form).
