Alternatives /Interim Airfield Capacity Enhancements

At the Commission Meeting on June 14, 2005, the Director of Aviation presented the following proposed initiatives:

• Amended Runway Use Options for the airport's south runway 9R/27L.
• Extending the Federal Inspection Service (FIS) operating hours at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
• Temporary ramp control tower on top of Terminal 1.
• Expedite Taxiway C construction.
• Construction of a loop taxiway and high speed exit taxiways.
• Taxiway C extension.
