If your mode of ground transportation is rental car, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has a convenient new consolidated Rental Car Center that saves you time and gets you on the way to your final destination faster.
To access all ground transportation, follow the easy-to-read signs in the terminal from your gate to the baggage claim area, located on the lower level. After you pick up your bags, proceed outside the terminal. You can make arrangements for a taxi or shared ride/private car at any of several Transportation Podiums located here. You'll also find bus stops for courtesy shuttles to other terminals, the Rental Car Center, remote parking lots and hotels.
