Found Kittens? Here is What you Should Do!
A shelter is no place for baby kittens. If you find baby kittens please leave them in place to see if their Mother is in the area--she is the best caregiver for her babies. If Mom is not around, then please help by fostering the kittens until they are old enough to be adopted. Animal Care will supply food and medical care for the family. Additional Dates added to Rabies Clinic Schedule
Residents now have two Rabies Clinic options each month! Beginning in June, another Rabies Clinic will be held at the former Pompano shelter location on the third Saturday of each month, from 9AM to Noon. These additional dates DO NOT replace the monthly Rabies Clinics already scheduled throughout the County.
All Broward County residents with pets are invited to attend. Free microchips will be offered along with low-cost rabies vaccinations and a Broward County Pet Registration tag.
Upcoming dates for June and July are as follows:
- June 22-9AM to NOON: Former Pompano shelter, 3100 NW 19th Terrace in Pompano
- July 13-9AM to 2PM: Catharine Young Library, 5810 Park Drive in Margate
- July 20-9AM to NOON: Former Pompano shelter, 3100 NW 19th Terrace in Pompano
