Cuddly, Cute and Caressable Dogs and Cats for Adoption
These are some of the Animals for adoption at the Fort Lauderdale Animal shelter. Prospective adopters complete an application form, and on approval, can take home their pet immediately. The $74.95 adoption fee includes a health exam, tattoo, license tag, sterilization, vaccinations, and a 14-day return policy. Animals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and may have been adopted.

Fort Lauderdale, 1870 Southwest 39 Street (southwest corner of the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport Perimeter Road). Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 1 - 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Call 954-359-1313 ext. 229.
Pompano Beach, 3100 Northwest 19 Terrace (off Powerline Road). Adoption hours are Wednesday through Friday from noon - 6 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Call 954-970-0130.
