In addition to the Chapter 4 Broward County Ordinance, most of the cities within Broward County have established their own animal laws/ordinances.

Some cities may have strict limits on the number of adult dogs and cats, or puppies or kittens residents can own.

Some municipalities also may have restrictions as to the type of dog or breed you may have within city limits.

Therefore, we strongly recommend you call your city government for the latest information on local animals laws/ordinances.
