Arthur Crispino has had a long active interest in the arts that ultimately led him from Paier College of Art to his career in retailing. He worked for over 25 years in the industry as Vice President of Marketing, Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Construction, Real Estate & International Licensing for companies such as Filene’s Boston and B. Altman and Brooks Brothers in New York City.

His concern for the environment and love of boating led to his serving on the board of “Save the Sound” a non-profit advocacy group that championed many initiatives to protect the Long Island Sound habitat and the quality of marine life there in a delicate balance with millions of people living all around this national treasure. He is also a Certified Master Gardener having completed the required classes and internship at the University of Connecticut. He also served on the board and was Vice Chair of the Stamford, CT chapter of the American Red Cross.

He retired to Fort Lauderdale in 2003 with his life partner of 37 years, Tony Timiraos and together they built a house in the Las Olas Isles only to sell it 8 months later and they now reside in Coral Ridge. His love of the arts remains strong and here in Broward County he also serves on the steering committee of The Miami City Ballet’s Artist Circle and is a member of The Broward Art Guild.
