Robin has lived in Broward County for the past 12 years and is proud to say she is a native Floridian. After graduating from high school in Virginia and then college in Chicago where she received her B.A. in English from the University of Chicago she decided to head back to the warm weather.

Robin moved to Miami where she graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. It was there that she met her husband of 22 years Brian. They have two wonderful children, Caitlyn and Zachary. Robin retired from law and became a full-time civic volunteer. She has served on many committees and boards of local organizations. (United Way, Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre, Entirely Entertaining Event at Bonnet House, Museum of Art Christmas tree sponsor, Leadership Broward, Jimmy Evert Tennis Center Advisory Board, Guardian Ad Litem, and Founder of Families For The Arts at University School.) Besides her avid love for the arts and education she also enjoys cooking, traveling, motorcycling, substitute teaching and her family.
