St. George Park

Description:
The entrance flooring to the St. George Community Center is designed with ceramic tile in the form of a circle embellished with eight cut-out shapes of doves in flight. A quiet yet congenial welcoming symbol greets the visitors to the Park.

Artist Statement:
"A community Center is a special place where people of all ages meet to exchange information. Information affects the direction and quality of peoples lives and thus the future. Doves are old-age symbols of hope, peace and love, and were chosen specifically by the artist to welcome, uplift and inspire all who enter the community center."
