Master of watercolor technique, Eleanor Clarke interpreted the subject of "Regatta" in an cubist analytical manner, dissecting the sails into multi-faceted planes imbued with vibrant colors to create an visual excitement. The artwork is installed at the lobby of the Center.

Artist Statement:
"I want the oblique thrusts of the sail shapes to create a feeling of movement and strength on a rolling sea, a sense of joy and exhilaration."
