Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport

Artist Statement:
"Public art is a very important aspect of the art world today and an airport terminal is about as public as anything can be. I'm very excited about the use of aluminum as a painting ground because it is also the metal used for airplanes. Aluminum is a wonderful contemporary material and in this case it is being used in a space which is very contemporary - flight. The painting on the aluminum is totally abstract which is also very contemporary."
