Description:
Artist Jim Jacobs often based the compositions of his work on aerial views of the land. In this case, the majestic Grand Canyon is abstracted to its crimson hue at sunset, with its parallel lines created by plateau and canyon. This diptych of lacquer on board is installed on an escalator wall at the Governmental Center.
