 Community Foundation of Broward

Community Foundation of Broward

Over the past 23 years, the Community Foundation has given over $35 million in grants to hundreds of local nonprofits. The Foundation accepts grant proposals year-round and awards grants four times a year. The Community Foundation has three primary focus areas: civic engagement, youth and families, and youth transitioning out of foster care. Additionally, in partnership with the National AIDS Fund, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Community Foundation has awarded almost $2 million toward the prevention of HIV/AIDS over the past 12 years. Through our competitive grant making process, the Community Foundation will support strong, well developed programs that address one or more of the primary focus areas. Contact Sheri Brown, Vice President of Grants and Initiatives, at 954-761-9503 x 103 or sbrown@cfbroward.org.
