Adriane Clarke, Grants Management Specialist I

 

Adriane Clarke joined the Cultural Division in August of 2005. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Adriane earned her B.A. in Communication and a certificate in Ethnic Studies in 1999. Prior to joining the Division, Ms. Clarke acted as the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Coordinator at the Urban League of Broward County, Inc.

During her six year career in the non-profit sector Adriane’s responsibilities included the management, implementation and evaluation of grant funded programs dedicated to the reduction of teen pregnancy in Broward County.

As a part of her role as Grants Management Specialist, Adriane currently serves as the Division’s Cultural Diversity Committee staff liaison. In this role, Ms. Clarke works to facilitate outreach opportunities, programs and services to benefit artists within Broward’s culturally diverse communities.  

Originally from the United States Virgin Islands, Ms. Clarke has been a Broward County resident since 1991; she currently resides in Pompano Beach with her husband and three children.
