Broward County Transit (BCT) is your number one public transportation option for getting around Broward County. We can take you practically anywhere you want to go -- work, schools, shopping, libraries, parks, cultural and civic activities, and other places of interest. We also provide links to Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties transit systems. Our buses provide connections to our community's multimodal transportation network, as well as system wide connections at three transfer terminals: Broward Central Terminal (downtown Fort Lauderdale); West Regional Terminal (Plantation) and Lauderhill Mall Transfer Facility (Lauderhill). The Northeast Transit Center (Pompano Beach) will open in Fall 2008.
We provide free Wi-Fi on the 441 Breeze and U.S. 1 Breeze routes, and at the Broward Central Terminal, and will introduce new, bio-diesel fuel hybrid buses to our fleet in 2008.
Mission Statement The mission of Broward County Transit is to provide clean, safe, reliable and efficient transit service to the community by being responsive to changing needs and focusing on customer service as our highest priority.
Service Area Of Broward's more than 1,200 square miles, BCT buses provide service to 410 square miles. Our service area becomes even greater with Route 18, BCT's first bus route to service the tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
