BCT provides transportation to many special events and assists in evacuation services in the event of a hurricane.
Florida Panther Home Game
Regular bus service on routes 22, 36 and 72 stops at the National Car Rental Center Arena. Please refer to specific Route Timetables for a complete listing.
BCT buses can take you to the annual Air & Sea Show. Each year our buses shuttle as many as 30,000 people from downtown Fort Lauderdale parking garages to and from the beach where they view military and civilian air, sea and entertainment activities. Entrance to the shows are free, and there is a BCT transportation fee of $3.00 round trip. Cost for parking at the downtown parking garage (across from the Main Broward County Library) is $5.
Winterfest Boat Parade
If you would like to see some of the best-dressed, sea-worthy vessels floating up the Intracoastal Waterway, BCT buses can take you there! We provide shuttle buses from the War Memorial Auditorium in Holiday Park on Federal Highway (two blocks south of Sunrise Boulevard), to the Winterfest Boat Parade grandstand seating area along the Intracoastal Waterway in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Return service is provided at the end of the parade. There is a parking fee for Holiday Park and bus fare is $3.00 round trip. |
