Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Community Bus Service
The Town Of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and Broward County Transit (BCT) are providing this community transportation service to increase the number of destinations within city limits that can be reached through public transit. This service is designed to work in conjunction with BCT Routes 11, 36, 62 and 72. The community bus stops at three locations that connect with the Fort Lauderdale Galt/North Beach Community Bus. There is no fare required when using the community bus, however, riders making the connections to BCT service are expected to pay the appropriate BCT fare. Service is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Buses are equipped with bike racks.
Bus Stops
The Town Of Lauderdale By-The-Sea Community Bus stops in front of businesses or where BCT connects. Bus operators stop only where they can see passengers waiting. Please stand in an area easily visible to the bus operator.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:25 p.m. The Community Bus travels every 30 minutes with assigned stops beginning at 9 am and ending at 5:25 pm. Please refer to the timetable below for times and destinations. Service operates as close to schedule as possible, although traffic conditions may cause the community bus to arrive slightly early or late. Please allow yourself enough time when traveling. No service will be available under hurricane warning.
Holidays
There is no service on Saturday, Sunday or the following holidays observed by The Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
