Environmental Monitoring

Environmental monitoring of every aspect of the project is being conducted by biologists and engineers from Broward County, Nova Southeastern University and Coastal Planning and Engineering, Inc.,/Olsen Asssociates, Inc., a joint venture of coastal engineering consulting firms.  The monitoring programs include the latest scientific and technological methodology, including regular coral reef and ocean floor investigations, sophisticated electronic vessel positioning and round-the-clock sea turtle nesting surveys.
