Current Status of BIN

	The BIN infrastructure and database implementation has been completed for the following five agencies. Human services department, Broward County Workforce-One Broward Community College Memorial Health Care Services School Board of Broward County
	The Memorandom Of Understanding (MOU) has been signed and the BIN application is being used by these five agencies. Human Services Department, Broward County Workforce-One Broward Community College Hispanic Unity School Board of Broward County

Current Features of BIN application.
Client Lookup	Users can search for a client, and get more information on the client from the BIN providers
Interagency notes	Users can attach a note to any client in BIN, which can be shared among the users from other participating agencies.
Online Referral	Users can refer a client to another agency, the referral will be posted immediately in BIN and will be available to the receiving agency.
Offsite Registration Portal	This portal contains hyper links to various web sites which offer online registration for adult, community, and college educational courses in Broward County.
Eligibility Screening (TRS)	Client's eligibility can be screened for various programs offered by different agencies in Broward County using the Targeted Referral System (TRS).
Electronic Data Interchange(EDI)	Client's information can be pulled from BIN in the form of an XML document and can be parsed and used in any other application. This saves lot of time by avoiding re-keying of data.
Resource Guide	Resource Guide which contains, agency, location, program and service information can be searched based on keyword.
