Mission: The mission of the Biological Resource Division is to protect, restore, and enhance the biological productivity, abundance, and diversity of marine, estuarine, freshwater, and terrestrial resources. This is accomplished through dredge and fill regulation, mitigation, a tree preservation ordinance, beach restoration, coral and artificial reef management, and beach erosion studies.
