Rental Inspection Program
Beginning October 1, 2013, All owners of rental properties units, including single-family dwellings, that intend to lease, sublease or rent, will be required to apply for and obtain a Residential Rental Certificate of Use and pass a cursory exterior inspection prior to entering into any lease, agreement, or renewal. To better handle investment properties that have been neglected and poorly maintained, this program is designed to keep accurate contact information of such property owners to ensure properties are maintained to code regulations.
