Contract Administration & Planning (CAP)

This section is responsible for strategic planning and administration of approximately $15 million in contracts awarded to public and non-profit organizations that provide a variety of services to children and their families. The services addresses the needs of children in several program categories: Behavioral Health, Special Health Care, Children in Homeless Families and Subsidized Child Care.

Staff provide support to the Broward County Children's Services Board (CSB), an advisory board that recommends to the Board of County Commissioners, which programs should be funded to provide the above services.

CAP also participates in several county-wide initiatives as part of its strategic planning function.
