Inspection Personnel

No one in Broward County may legally perform Building Code or Fire Code inspection functions unless they have been certified in that capacity by the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals and the State of Florida. For Building Code personnel, state certification is through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and for Fire Code personnel, certification is through the State Fire Marshal's office.
