Full Building Renovation
The Broward County Judicial Complex (BCJC) Midrise Office Building located at 540 SE 3rd Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This project formed an integral part of the Broward County Judicial Complex re-development, acting as a critical support facility to the Courthouse tower and its associated services.
The project encompasses the full renovation and Interior construction fit-out of approximately 64,000 square feet on four floors at the existing Midrise Building. The scope also includes the full retro-fit installation of a fully functional and code compliant sprinkler and life safety system. The sustainable approach to this development includes using the existing base infrastructure services systems and building structure.
The design has achieved a LEED Gold Certification for New Construction and Major Renovations from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
