Applying for an Auto Body & Paint Shop Technician or Trainee

You Must Provide the Following:

• COMPLETED APPLICATION
• FEE(S)
• COPIES OF ASE or AATI CERTIFICATES (if applicable)

Note:   License expires on December 31st of every year.

Explanations

1. Submit a completed application for " Auto Body Technician or Trainee Permit".

2.  Permit fee is $50 for Certified Technicians and $20 for Trainees or Lube and Tire. Payable by cash (in person only), check, credit card (except American Express), or money order.  Checks made payable to: Broward County Commissioners. 

3. Certified technicians must submit ASE or AATI certificate copies.
