TAXI & LIMOUSINE
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners has enacted the Motor Carrier Ordinance, Chapter 22 ½ of the Broward County Code to regulate the taxicab and limousine industry and to provide consumer protection for users of regulated "for-hire" vehicles. Compliance and enforcement of the Motor Carrier Ordinance is done by the Broward County Consumer Affairs Division, Regulatory Operation Section.
