Moving
The Broward County Consumer Affairs Division regulates local household moving companies, requiring certain individuals and companies to register annually for a license to engage in local moves. A move is local if it is from one location in Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach Counties to another within the tri-county area. The moving ordinance also provides specific rights and obligations on the mover and the consumer. Below is a menu of information for consumers and moving companies.
