TAXI & LIMOUSINE CONSUMER INFORMATION 

Broward County regulates for-hire vehicles, including taxicabs, luxury sedans, luxury limousines, and transport vans.  A luxury limousines and transport vans are vehicle with a seating capacity of 6-19 passengers, excluding the driver. Specific definitions of "for-hire" vehicle can be found on this site. Please see below.

All regulated for-hire vehicles must have a current permit, a decal affixed to the right side of front window and the driver must hold a current chauffeur's registration.  Limousines operating at the airport will also need to have an airport operating permit affixed to the windshield.
