Open Enrollment is that one time in the year when you can enroll in or make changes to your pretax benefits (health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts)and now prepaid legal insurance. Remember, pretax benefits do not roll over to the following year; you will need to participate in Open Enrollment to continue in these programs. All other after-tax benefits such as optional life, long-term disability, long-term care, AFLAC, etc. will rollover, where applicable, without you having to take further action.

The last three months of the year are filled with holidays, festivities with family and friends, and of course, food! This holiday challenge is a great opportunity to make sure you stay on the right track.

How it works – You weigh in before Thanksgiving and after the New Year. If you maintained or even lost weight, you are eligible to win an American Express gift card of $50. New On-Site Humana Representative

County employees now have a new on-site Humana representative – Rima Merlano, who bring 16 years of experience with Humana and a wealth of benefits knowledge to serve the County. Merlano replaces Jorge Benitez who relocated to a position in Humana’s corporate office.
