Section 10.01 of the Broward County Charter, as amended, provides for the appointment of a 17-member Management and Efficiency Study Committee in June 1998 and every six years thereafter. The Committee is authorized and empowered to conduct a comprehensive study of County government. This review shall include an analysis and study of the most effective and cost-efficient means to provide services to Broward County residents.
The second Management and Efficiency Study Committee’s term is from June 2004 to June 2006. The Committee’s authority is advisory to the County Commission. An interim report will be submitted to the Commission in June 2005 and a final report on June 1, 2006.
