In 1985, Broward County Elderly Services became the Lead Agency for the Community Care for the Elderly program (CCE). This Florida State Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) funded program provides case management, adult day care, case aide, chores, emergency alert response system, health support, homemaker, in-home respite care, medical supplies, and personal care to eligible residents.

Eligibility qualification criteria for the services provided by this program are determined by factors such as age and availability.
