Quality Assurance Section

The responsibilities of this section are to develop protocols to insure the generation of reliable analytical data and to oversee the work of analysts to insure that all elements of the Laboratory Quality Manual are observed by Laboratory staff. Our Laboratory is NELAP (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program) certified by the Florida Department of Health for environmental water. Our areas of certification include: Clean Water Act: metals, nutrients, demands, minerals, and other inorganics, volatile organics, organochlorine pesticides, herbicides, and PCBs, Resource Conservation Recovery Act: metals, total petroleum hydrocarbons, volatile organics, extractable organics, pesticides, herbicides and PCBs. Our Quality Manual for all our Laboratory operations is also certified by the Department of Health (Certification # E46053).
