4-H Projects
Each 4-H member who enrolls in one of our clubs, must complete a project each year. Broward County 4-H provides one (1) project book to each club-enrolled youth. Below, you will find all of the information necessary to complete a Project Book and Project Record Book. Please read our Fact Sheet for complete information.
If you are unsure if an older version of a "Project Record" is a complete Project, please contact us at the office. We're happy to answer all of your project-related questions!

General Project Record Books
To receive recognition for project completition, each 4-H participant must submit at least one General Project Record Book by July 1.
Please choose the appropriate Project Report by age level as of September 1 of the current 4-H year:
- Cloverbud (5-7) -- PDF - 260 KB
- Junior (8-10) -- PDF - 148 KB
- Intermediate (11-13) -- PDF - 105 KB
- Senior (14-18) -- PDF - 105 KB
Then include one Evaluation (PDF - 76 KB) and age-level Score Sheets (Coming Soon) with each completed General Project Record Book.
General Project Record Books should be assembled in this manner:
- Project Report (followed by additional pages if you have them)
- Project Book
- Project Pictures
- Project Story
- Score Sheet
- Evaluation Form
Achievement Record Books
Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors may submit the following Achievement Record Books for additional recognition. Achievement Record Books should be assembled in the manner in which they are provided. An evaluation is included in each Achievement Record Book. Do not submit the General Project Record Book Evaluation as part of the Achievement Record Book.
In addition, Ahievement Record Books do not include a Project Book, although a 4-H member must complete at least one Project Book in order to submit an Achievement Record Book.
To be considered for 4-H Member of the Year awards, a member must submit the Golden Clover Record Book. To be considered for Horseman of the Year awards, a member must submit the Golden Horseman Record Book., which must be submitted by July 1.
