As part of ongoing efforts to educate children about the value of environmental protection, the Broward County Environmental Protection & Growth Management Department Air Quality Division is incorporating character education into its outreach efforts. Character education is a tool being used by the School Board of Broward County, to educate children about good character.
Each month, Broward County teachers focus on a different character trait and incorporate that trait into their daily classroom activities and plans. In keeping with this theme, EPD’s Air Quality Division has related these core values to environmental protection.
