#14 [Letter, check & note]
Aug. 4, 1983
Mr. Robert Cote, Am. Optical, Southbridge, Mass.

Dear Mr. Cote:
Over 5 weeks ago I ordered a pair of medium blue-green mannekin (sic) eyes & haven't received them yet. You are usually so prompt. The check hasn't been returned so thought my letter may have been lost—in any case send me another pair of eyes at the earliest & large as possible making sure both Irises are the same size. This is the main trouble—they are hardly ever the same size. Thanks.
D. Hanson

[Attached note: 8/15/83, Dear Mr. Hanson: We thought it best to return your check for $40.00 as I am sure by now that you have received the Manequin (sic) eyes that were ordered. Sorry for the delay as we were on vacation.

Sincerely,
R.E. Cote, Monoplex Mgr.
