James (Jim) A. Findlay

Jim Findlay received a BA in art history and an MS in Library Science from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and an MA in Latin American Studies from UCLA. He has been a professional librarian since 1971 and has held library positions with the Peace Corps (Dominican Republic), the UCLA Art Library, The Museum of Modern Art (NY); was director of the libraries of The Rhode Island School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology (NY), and The Wolfsonian (Miami Beach). Since 1996, he has been the librarian of Broward County Library’s Bienes Center for the Literary Arts, The Dianne and Michael Bienes Special Collection and Rare Book Library (Fort Lauderdale). His book, Modern Art of Latin America: a Bibliography, was published in 1983 by Greenwood Press, and he has contributed numerous bibliographies to American and European exhibition catalogs. He has curated and published numerous Bienes Center exhibition catalogs, including the recent title: The WPA: an Exhibition of Works Progress Administration (WPA) Literature and Art from the Collections of the Bienes Center for the Literary Arts, 1998. He is active in the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA).

Lillian Perricone, CatalogerLillian Perricone

Lillian Perricone received a BA in history and art history from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida and an M.A. in Library and Information Science from University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. During her tenure as a librarian in Broward County Library, she has worked in the Fine Arts and Recreation Department, the Audiovisual and Popular Library, and Reference and Information Services. Since 2004 she has been the Special Collections and Rare Book Cataloger of Broward County Library's Bienes Center for the Literary Arts, The Dianne and Michael Bienes Special Collections and Rare Book Library (Fort Lauderdale). She is a member of the American Library Association, Rare Book and Manuscript Section (RBMS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), and Florida Library Association.
