Print Sources -- Books
The Business, Law, and Government (BLG) Services Section, located on the fifth floor of the Broward County Main Library, has directories of companies at the local, state, national, and international levels. Directories include Dun's Regional Business Directory, Florida Manufacturer's Directory, Dun and Bradstreet's Million Dollar Directory, and Dun's International Businesses.
Note: Books on companies and industries are available at many branches of the Broward County Library and are generally classified in the 338 Dewey Decimal section of the library. Call your local branch library for additional information. (LINK to the phone numbers of BCL branches.)
Reference Databases
Business and Company Resource Center (LINK) provides directory listings and profiles of major companies with links to periodical articles, investment reports, financials, rankings, suits and claims, products, industry overviews, and associations relating to each company.
Reference USA (LINK) provides directory information and company profiles for businesses of all types and sizes throughout the U.S. Lists of companies may be accessed by type of business, geographic area, business size, and many other categories. Links are provided to the web sites of each company. In addition, links to stock market information, EDGAR files, and Annual Reports are available for public companies.
