May 10 - Urban Fiction Book Club, Meta Smith's Queen of Miami, 10:30 a.m.
May 24 - Sankofa Book Club presents The Farrakhan Factor edited by Amy Alexander, 2 p.m.

May 5 - Book Discussion, Daniel Silva's The Secret Servant. 1 to 2 p.m.

May 10 - Come celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Imani Book Club with host and honoree Kristine Hollis, 1 to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Dania Beach Library.
May 31 - Literary Book Club will discuss Alan Hollinghurst's The Line of Beauty, 1 to 2:30 p.m.

May 14 - Shorts - Short Story Discussion Group, An international selection of short stories for lively exchange, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
May 22 - "Quick and Easy Classics" book group. No registration necessary, just show up having read the book Eudora Welty's The Optimist's Daughter, and be ready to discuss it, 7 to 8 p.m. Please call Morgan at 954-926-2430, x. 234 with questions.

May  22 - Lunch with the Librarian, The Bear Came Over the Mountain/Away from Her by Alice Munro, presentation by librarian Louise Taylor. NOTE: Attendees are encouraged to read the book prior to attending this discussion, noon to 1 p.m. Soft drinks courtesy of the Friends of North Regional/BCC Library. Weston Branch
Book-Club-in-a-Bag - Start your own book club with everything you need to lead a discussion group: 10 books, questions, biographical information, reviews, and a sign-up form to help you keep track of the books.
