Books ‘n’ Babies Story Time

It’s never too early to involve your child in the joys of reading, stories, and books - Broward County Library’s Books ‘n’ Babies program. This program, open to children up to 36 months and their caregivers – is a synthesis of song, stories and fun presented at a level that even the littlest readers can understand.

Book ‘n’ Babies, as well as the myriad story times for pre-school children, offer parents, grandparents and caregivers the opportunity to spend quality one-on-one time with their child while engaging in an activity that’s fun, fast-paced, and – best of all – educational. Reading to children early and often increases literacy and vocabulary development, and attending story time sessions at your local Broward County Library helps to initiate a lifelong love of libraries and reading in small children.
