Broward County Library won the 2007 Estela and Raúl Mora Award, which promotes participation in the celebration of Día de los Niños/ Día de los Libros (Children's Day/Books Day).

All three family festivals will feature top-quality children's performances, free arts and
crafts, special storybook character appearances, free face painting and free books to
the first 650 children at each location, courtesy of the Target Big Book Giveaway.
