Your Library Card
 Apply for a library card online.
Add your e-mail address to your library card account to receive e-mail notifications about the holds you placed on library materials.
Find out what forms of identification are needed to obtain a library card.
To access: Click on Library Card in the left navigation bar.
Check the status of a Broward County Library card account with My Account.
To access: Click on My Account in the left navigation bar.
Library Materials
Find a book, DVD, music CD, or audio book.
To access: Click on Catalog in the left navigation bar.
Find books on the Best Sellers List.
To access: Click on Best Sellers List in the right navigation bar.
Find the latest movies, music, and audio books.
To access: Click on New Movies/Books/Audio Books/Music in the right navigation bar.
Place a hold on library materials.
To access: Once you have selected an item in the online catalog, click Place hold(s) on the left side of the screen.
Renew selected library materials.
To access: Log into My Account with your library card account number, last name, and the last four digits of the telephone number that was provided with the initial library card application. Click on Checked Out. View the selected items and check the boxes next to the corresponding items you would like to renew, then click on Renew Selected Items. If the item can be renewed, the new due date will appear on the Web page.
Find out information about loan periods, renewals, and the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
