BCL offers computers classes at most locations to update existing technical skills or learn new ones, and free software and classes can help improve your English, Spanish, or Portuguese speaking and writing skills. Our Business & Finance programs offer free help with everything from taxes to marketing plans. Online resources such as CareerOverview and Florida Occupational Outlook Handbook can help you plan your career path, and are offered at locations countywide.
Additionally, many Broward County libraries offer programs and workshops on employment skills such as interviewing and resume preparation for teens and adults. For example, Jan Moran Collier City Library has an ongoing Employability and Job Maturity Skills program that is available anytime during library hours.
While the job market of today might be hard, using Broward County Library is easy and free, providing access and resources for everyone in our community.
