National Library Week
April 13 to 19
National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. "It is a period in time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support."
Broward County Library offers a remarkable wealth of resources. Beyond free access to books, periodicals, audio/visual material, BCL provides free (wireless) Internet and e-mail access, information for job searches and resumes; small business opportunities and the priceless knowledge and experience of librarians. These librarians are a vital link for all of us to direct us to the information and resources we need. Stop by a County Library during the month of April and celebrate National Library Week!
