Established in April 1996 by the Academy of American Poets, National
Poetry Month elebrates all aspects of poetry.

during National Poetry Month. Click on the catalog and enter the

If you want to search by name, below are some of the most well-known
poets:
Maya Angelou, Shel Silverstein, Pablo Neruda, E.E. Cummings, Robert
Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, Ezra
Pound, Oscar Wilde, Walt Whitman, and William Wordsworth.
