Broward County Library’s E-Newsletter has won numerous accolades and awards. In just a few short years, Broward County Library has received national attention for its innovativeness and consistent achievement in the field of electronic newsletter.

2007 APEX award

2007 APEX Award for Publication Excellence for the September 2006 E-Newsletter. The APEX awards are national awards for distinguished writing in publications and exceptional design. Click here to view the winning September issue.

2007 Hermes Creative Award for the E-Newsletter. The Hermes Awards honor creators of traditional and emerging media.

Broward County Library received the highest honor of Best in Class for its E-Newsletter in the 2007 National Association of County Information Officer (NACIO) Awards.

National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Gold Screen Award was presented to Broward County Library's E-Newsletter for continued excellence in an electronic publication.

Broward County Library offers resources for every age range, from early learners to teens, including:

     covering science, English, literature, math,
     biographies, current events and more.
• Access to newspapers, magazines, articles and
     information from around the world.
  • Free tutoring and reading help.
• Books for every age range and interest, including
     Accelerated Readers, picture books, chapter
     books, classics and more – we work with local
     schools to order assigned books to ensure all
     students have free access to necessary materials.   • Free workshops and classes on college and SAT
     preparation.
• Ask-A-Librarian – just call during open library
     hours to get the answers you need!
• Story times in English and Spanish, to encourage
     early readers.
• Fun, exciting, free programs that encourage
