Online Tip of the
Month

Free Online Homework Help
Looking for help with your homework? Broward County Library has
the best online tip for you.
Broward etutor offers completely free and confidential homework
help from 2 to 10 p.m., seven days a week from any Broward County
Library location or remotely from the convenience of any computer
with Internet access at home, work, or even school. The service
is also available in Spanish.
Students need their Broward County Library card and the last
four digits of the telephone associated with that card to access
the online tutoring. Students and tutors can review specific homework
questions using a chat system and an interactive white board to
explain solutions to problems.
In November, hundreds of students from all over Broward County
used Broward etutor. Math and science were the two top subjects.
After using Broward etutor, a fourth grade student said, "This
is a blessing. I'm glad you offer it. We will definitely be back!"
Another student mentioned, "I love this website. Thanks so
much from 5th grader Sharnisse." A tenth grade student shared,
"It was my first time using [Broward] etutor and I'm glad
it was available because I have some last minute questions for
a test tomorrow in physics." An adult learner commented,
"This was a wonderful experience. I look forward to using
this service again."
