Online Tip of the Month Visual Catalog Don’t just search for that book you wanted or feel limited by the standard catalog. Use Broward County Library’s new Visual Catalog to find items in a “word cloud.” Search the new Visual Catalog with a term and related words and topics will also appear. In addition to the topic you are looking for, you will find an array of similar subjects linked to your original search. Click on any of the words to find more items in the library’s catalog. And, you can still place a hold on materials just like the traditional catalog. Take a few minutes and use this new feature. You’ll find a whole new world of ways to search for exactly what you need. |
