The new North Lauderdale
Saraniero Branch Library
A new addition to the Broward County Library family is the new North Lauderdale Saraniero Branch located at 6901 Kimberly Boulevard in North Lauderdale. It opened on Saturday, June 24 with 20,000 square feet. Over 100 people attended the ceremonies which featured a performance of “Who Will Teach Them?” from Enthnotricity Cultural Arts Studio Dancers under the direction of Benisa Forte. Guest speakers included Broward County’s Vice Mayor Josephus Eggelletion, Jr., Broward County Commissioner Ilene Liberman, Broward County Library Director Robert E. Cannon, North Lauderdale Mayor Jack Brady, North Lauderdale Commissioner Jack Brady, Luis Muriel, Chair of the Broward County Library Advisory Board and Mary Becht, Director of Broward County’s Cultural Division.
The new library has programming for adults, teens and children with rooms for group study, tutoring, storytelling and programming.
