Upcoming Programs @ Hollywood Branch Library
The library occupies the first floor of an immense square and pristine white two-story building sitting on the south side of the traffic circle at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, just west of South 26th Avenue. The library is a partnership between Broward County and the City of Hollywood. Public Art - In the Public Art and Design project Grus Pacifica, tiny squares of paper arranged along the outside edge of the circle progressively fold their way to completion into origami cranes at the center of the design. Along with the move to a bigger space, the library more than tripled the number of computers available to the public. Library customers have access to 56 computers, with 24 of those available in a computer room where technology workshops and classes can be taught. There are 100,000 items available, including an up-to-date collection of books, videos, CDs and periodicals.
